The last Atlantic Future Forum (AFF) took place on 28 and 29 September 2022 in New York.  The AFF was hosted on the Royal Navy’s aircraft carrier, HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH.

Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Forum is an opportunity for senior politicians, policymakers, military leaders and academia, together with business leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss the new dimensions of international security and the future technologies which will define the next decade and beyond.

The Forum was led by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), working alongside the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to strengthen the trade and economic pillars of the Euro-Atlantic alliance and reinforce our security and defence partnerships with like-minded, democratic allies. The AFF is chaired by Lord Sedwill and was co-hosted by the First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Ben Key and HM Ambassador Dame Karen Pierce.
